AHS Celebrates Exceptional 2024 HSC Results

2024 AHS HSC Results

Today, we proudly celebrate the exceptional achievements of our 2024 HSC students. Several of them dropped by to share in the joy of their success.

We are pleased to announce the following outstanding results:

  • 17 Band 6 / E4 Results
  • 101 Band 5 / E3 Results
  • 11 Students on the Distinguished Achievers List (Band 6 or E4 in a subject)
  • 1 Student with 3 Distinguished Achiever Awards
  • 4 Students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above:
    • Max Ibrom 94.3
    • Roisin Wilson 92.55
    • Alex Ventress 92.4
    • Gibb Willinck 91.7).
  • 10 further students with an ATAR above 80.

The Albury High School community extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2024 as they step forward into the next exciting phase of their lives. It has been both an honor and a privilege to support them throughout their educational journey.

Following the release of the HSC results today, local news stations and Border Mail interviewed several of our standout students. Max Ibrom, the Dux of the 2024 cohort, was featured, having achieved an impressive ATAR, with Band 6 / E4 results in Software Design, Mathematics Extension 2, and Mathematics Extension 1. Max plans to pursue studies in mathematics and software design at university.

Also interviewed was Lily French, who earned a Band 6 in Visual Arts and was accepted to perform her HSC Dance piece in “Callback.”
