Nathan's journey to becoming the Careers Advisor
Nathan Honeyman is currently the Careers Advisor at AHS.
Nathan has always had a passion for helping students succeed and achieve their career goals.
Before taking on the role of Careers Advisor, Nathan worked in various schools both in the United Kingdom and Austrailia. He began his career as a high school teacher, where he taught subjects such as Technology and PDHPE to students. As he found himself drawn more towards career councelling and helping students navigate their post-secondary options, Nathan decided to shift his career path towards guidance and career counselling.
With years of experience working in a variety of education and organisational settings, Nathan has developed strong expertise in career development, welfare, education, and counselling services. He has an excellent understanding of the different career paths available and helps students find the one that aligns with their interests and strengths.
Nathan is dedicated to providing high quality support and guidance to all students in his care.
Nathan holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Charles Sturt University and a Graduate Certificate in Careers Education and Development from RMIT.
