Bell times

It’s important that students arrive at school on time so they can make the most of the school day. Mornings are when key learning starts, and being on time helps your child settle in and stay on track.

Our bell times

Our school follows regular bell times, with a different schedule on Wednesdays for sport.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (non-sports days)

• School day starts: 8:55 am

• Period 1: 9:00 am - 9:40 am

• Period 2: 9:40 am - 10:20 am

• 1st Recess: 10:20 am - 10:40 am

• Period 3: 10:40 am - 11:20 am

• Period 4: 11:20 am - 12:00 pm

• Lunch: 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm

• Period 5: 12:30 pm - 1:10 pm

• Period 6: 1:10 pm - 1:50 pm

• 2nd Recess: 1:50 pm - 2:10 pm

• Period 7: 2:10 pm - 2:50 pm

• Period 8: 2:50 pm - 3:30 pm

• School day ends: 3:30 pm

Wednesday (sports day)

• School day starts: 8:55 am

• Period 1: 9:00 am - 9:40 am

• Period 2: 9:40 am - 10:20 am

• Recess: 10:20 am - 10:40 am

• Period 3: 10:40 am - 11:20 am

• Period 4: 11:20 am - 12:00 pm

• Lunch: 12:00 pm - 12:50 pm

• Sport: 12:50 pm - 2:30 pm

• School day ends*: 2:30 pm

*supervision for bus travellers is still available until 3:30pm.

Consecutive school bells

Students must pay attention to the school bell. When it rings more than once, it has a special meaning.

• Two bell rings: wet weather/extreme heat rooms may be used.

• Three bell rings: a Special Assembly in the hall is happening.
