Opportunities and activities

Our school offers a range of co-curricular programs (extra-curricular) and activities that help students grow, make new friends, explore their interests and build real-world skills. These experiences support learning beyond the classroom and help your child become a confident, creative, active and connected member of the school community.

Co-curricular highlights

Performing arts

Through the performing arts, students learn to think critically and creatively. At our school, we offer Dance, Drama and Music.

Albury High School students participate in local, regional and state events. These include the Riverina to Bundanon Art Experience, State Dance Festival and the NSW State Schools Spectacular.

Creative writing

We are a proud supporter of helping students achieve their creative writing dreams.

For example, we created the Dorothy Simmons Creative Writing Award beginning in 2022.
